FRAMELESS GLASS
Since the revised National Construction Code in May 2023 frameless glass is not really my thing.
Structural 12mm toughened safety glass is top fixed fixed with duplex stainless steel 2205 spigots or side fixed with 316 grade stainless steel standoffs. A 25mm round or square slotted interlocking top rail or offset handrail is required for all balconies above 1 metre. Imported Standard glass panels (50mm increments) are fully accredited to Australian Standards AS/NZS 2208. They come with etched compliance logo, certificate and 5 year replacement warranty. Custom panels are cut and toughened in Sydney.
