AUSTRALIAN STANDARDS
All styles are tested to conform with Australian Standard 1170.1
Horizontal and vertical loading of 0.75kN/m plus 1.5 factor of safety.
(In laymens terms this is 112.5kg per meter hanging off balustrade fixed to wall).
Horizontal wind loading of 1.1kPa for exposed suburban conditions.
Beware many aluminium sections and base plates don't conform. Many frameless glass spigots are only tested to 330N (ie. 33kg - not much).
